Singapore's first all terrain tracked carrier

20 June 2000 (ATTC) at Eurosatory 2000. The latest in its automotive engineering innovations after the Bionix, the AUC boasts an payload of up to 5 tonnes, making it ideal for a wide range of applications, both military and commercial.

The product of 41/2 years of research and development, the ATTC is a reflection of ST Kinetics' initiative and investment in new innovation for product development. The vehicle is fully-designed and developed in-house by ST Kinetics engineers.

The ATTC is built to meet the needs of a wide range of design applications. It ensures almost any combination of cargo, from transport of military hardware to food and medical aid. It also has a growth potential to undertake a wide range of bafflefield missions as well as commercial applications.

Said Mr Wu Tzu Chien, President of ST Kinetics, "The ATTC was developed after our review on market demands for an articulated tracked vehicle capable of meeting the requirements for a higher payload. As a result, the ATTC can be custom-built to specific conditions."

The ATTC is designed to traverse all terrain types from mud to snow and water, with ease. Its heavy-duty seamless rubber tracks are fitted with a running gear system built to handle soft ground conditions as well as providing directional stability. Swimming operations require minimum preparation and the ATTC can achieve a top speed of 5 km/hr in water.

The vehicle is equipped with a unique four-sprocket drive and fully-articulated steering. It also comes with an optional differential lock - giving the ATTC a performance edge in soft ground terrain as it enables better propulsion of the vehicle. The excellent articulation allows for tight-turns and small-radius manoeuvres in challenging conditions.

The spacious and ergonomic crew cabin promotes greater operational readiness even after long and continuous deployments. In addition, the driver console is an intuitive man-machine interface, specially designed for minimum training and supervision. This ensures that the vehicle is ready for battle in a matter of minutes.

Fitted with a powerful electronic engine, the ATTC is capable of reaching a top speed of over 60 km/h while achieving substantial savings in fuel consumption. Stringent emission controls ensure that the vehicle is environmentally friendly, while heavy-duty rubber tracks enables the vehicle to move quietly.
