Tadiran Communications has launched the IRCS (Integrated Radio Communication System). Combining separate military, public-safety and homeland-security communications networks of varying levels into one integrated network that features seamless connectivity, the new system answers the needs of the information-hungry 21st century digital battlefield. Advanced IT and communication products are united into the IRCS, which connects early and latest generation equipment in order to comply with a full spectrum of communication requirements.
With IRCS, every system protocol and type of communication equipment can be integrated, including regular telephony, wireless communications and newer technology based networks such as IP and fiber optics. IRCS links field-deployed forces with command posts to streamline command and control.
Furthermore, the IRCS not only connects nationwide air, ground and naval forces, it is also capable of linking the armed forces of different countries into a reliable network for voice and data applications - critical to supporting a full gamut of joint operations. The IRCS is based on proprietary sophisticated algorithms and military VoIP and military RoIP technology.
Tadiran Communications customises IRCS to meet each customer's operational requirements. The company's turnkey solutions comprise all stages, from initial specification to design and deployment. Within this scope, Tadiran Communications plans and implements the radio communications infrastructure for tactical and strategic echelons; designs the system to conform with the customer's existing infrastructure; develops special solutions for the customer's operational requirements; provides step-by-step system set-up, followed by training and long-term technical and logistic support.
