The GES-210/E Mobile Ground ESM/ELINT System from Elisra Electronic Systems Ltd has recently won an open tender issued by a country in Asia. The contract is worth approximately $11.4 million. In winning this tender, the Elisra system was competing against systems offered by defence electronics leaders from all over the world. The combination of latest generation, operationally-proven features and reliability led to the GES-210/E's selection in this open tender.
"We anticipate substantial orders following the results of this important tender, and look forward to cooperating with the country in order to meet its needs," says Danny Biran, Chairman and CEO of the Elisra Group.
The GES-210/E, which can be installed on various ground-based and mobile platforms, provides decision-support information to intelligence, command and control HQ and field forces during war. The advanced ESM/ELINT system incorporates the latest technologies in receiving, DF measurement and signal processing. It automatically detects, measures and identifies electromagnetic emissions from ground-based, shipborne and airborne radar systems and calculates their direction. The GES-210/E measures the electronic parameters and angle of arrival for each signal and identifies the detected emitters in accordance with an Emitter Parameter List file. All intercepted emitters are filed in an Activity Target File and presented to the operator on a colour graphic display in various display modes and logged on magnetic media for further processing.
The GES-210/E is a fully automatic system. However, it enables operator intervention in order to control the system's operating mode, to perform special analysis missions or to update the system's regime.
